Our amazing team of dedicated individuals at Maple Orthodontics benefits from a wealth of experience and knowledge. Each member of the team is fully qualified in their own area of expertise and strives to deliver the best patient care at all times.
The team are local to Slough, we’re all good friends and have lots of fun both inside and outside of work. Each year we attend an Orthodontic conference together alternating between a UK City and a European City, which also enhances our team spirit and friendship.

Michael studied dentistry at Liverpool Dental School qualifying in 1975. He spent 25 years as a general dental practitioner. In 1992 he gained Membership in the Faculty of General Dental Practitioner, Membership in General Dental Surgery in 1999 and Membership in Faculty of Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland in 2001.
Michael completed his three year orthodontic training at the Royal London Dental Hospital, qualifying in 2004 and was awarded his MSc and his Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, allowing him to be registered as a specialist orthodontist with the General Dental Council. He was awarded the Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 2013. He was a clinical lecturer at the Royal London Dental Institute from 2005 to 2013. He established Maple Orthodontics since 2004.
Michael is additionally qualified in the use of Invisalign, Incognito and Win lingual braces. He has an interest in treating children and adults with class III malocclusion (under bite) without them needing complex surgical procedures.
Practice Manager

Clare is the Practice Manager and is responsible for the day to day running of our busy specialist practice. She qualified as a Registered Dental Nurse in 1990 and has many years’ experience within Orthodontics.
Clare enjoys travelling, entertaining friends and family and keeps fit playing Hockey for Reading.
Orthodontic Therapist

Emily is a very valuable member of our dedicated team, she has worked with us since 2007. Since her time with us has successfully qualified as a Registered Dental Nurse and is qualified in Orthodontic nursing and Radiography.
In December 2013, Emily gained her Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and now enjoys the new challenges she faces supporting Michael with her excellent clinical skills. Emily enjoys fine dining, walking her 2 dogs Harry & Ginny, keeping fit and spending time with friends and family.

Katie joined the Maple team in April 2019 as a qualified RDN, she is very hard working and dedicated to the practice, helping with our IT issues and general organisation within the practice.
2023 was a very busy year for Katie! She gained her Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, bought her first house and in addition juggled family life taking care of her 3 year old daughter.

Claire started working with Michael in 2004, she is our longest standing member of the Maple team! She qualified as an RDN in 2008, gained her certificate of radiography in 2014 and her certificate in orthodontic nursing in 2018.
As our Head nurse, Claire looks after our clinical requirements within the practice, managing the other 4 nurses, ordering clinical supplies and ensuring our clinical audits are kept up to date. She also runs her own clinics discussing treatment plans, oral hygiene requirements taking photographs, as well as being a dab hand with our Dexis scanner!
Claire, her husband, their 2 children and the dog, Millie, enjoy long walks, good food and spending time with family and friends.

Monika has been working with us since March 2019, she qualified as an RDN in 2013 and gained her certificate of radiography in 2022.
As a senior member of the Maple team, Monika supports our head nurse with many clinical duties, helps run our new patient clinics, enjoys using the Dexis scanner to make retainers for the patients and also spends a day a week helping Charlotte at reception. Monika is fluent in Polish and is often asked to help with translating for some of our patients.
Monika has 2 boys who keep her busy in her spare time. She also enjoys traveling and entertaining her family and friends.

Aradhana joined our Maple team in August 2020, she had just qualified as an RDN when she started with us. She is currently studying Radiology and takes her exam this March! Aradhana has also recently taken a photography and impression course so she is able to help with our new patient clinics. She is currently being trained how to use our Dexis scanner. Aradhana also helps with many clinical tasks and ensures that the lab work is all in order each day.
In her spare time, Aradhana enjoys travelling, going out with her friends and spending time with family. Aradhana also speaks fluent Punjabis so is able to help with translation when required.

Daria started working at Maple in January 2023. She qualified as an RDN in 2021. Daria has a great sense of humour and enjoys working with the team. She has learnt a lot about Orthodontics over the past year and is now looking forward to being taught how to take photographs and how to use our Dexis scanner. She speaks fluent Polish so is able to help with translations when needed.
Daria and her boyfriend love to holiday in sunny climes, she loves to cook and eat out in restaurants.

Rameesah joined our Maple team in January 2023. She qualified as an RDN in 2022 and is now studying Radiography which she is very much enjoying. She is a very confident and bubbly member of the team and takes pride in her work. She has taken on the task of monitoring all of our medical emergencies equipment and supporting the other nurses with the day to day clinical tasks. Rameesah also speaks Urdu so is able to translate when required.
In her spare time, Rameesah enjoys eating out, trying new foods and spending time with friends, especially now she has recently passed her driving test.

Linda qualified as an RDN in 2020, she has worked as a receptionist with us at Maple Orthodontics since March 2021. She enjoys the face to face contact with our patients and often gives oral health instructions to our patients after they have had their brace fitted. Linda is a valued member of the team and has a great sense of humour.
Linda spends her free time walking her dog, Willow, teaching children to swim and spending time with her sister & friends.
Head Receptionist
Charlotte is our Head Receptionist and has been ‘the face’ of Maple Orthodontics since 2010. She works extremely hard on reception, dealing with the front line and organising our clinics.
In her spare time, Charlotte enjoys walking Buster the dog, having fun with her 2 young granddaughters and holidaying in sunny destinations.
